Irene Pickard, mayor ofMy Sweet Ginger1 day agoToday Madam Minnie that she was MY BOSS and she would keep checking on me all day. She wouldn't leave my side except to go and have something to eat. And even then it had to be quality cat food not cheap stuff. She did have some diced chicken which she loves along with her lick-e-licks. But she also decided that she wanted one of her chicken flavoured lollies. Which is fine except that I have to keep hold of it for her while she licks and slurps at it and gives it an occasional nibble. But me her slave has to hold it for her. She never goes to her dad for things like that just me her mum because she knows I'm soft and will do anything for her lol

Irene Pickard, mayor ofMy Sweet Ginger2 days agoHow Miss Minnie came to live with us... We already had a cat called Ginger (City named after him). He was such a swwet cat and no trouble at all but his one delight was enjoying differnet food being fed to him by whoever was available to give him soon. He even loved asian style food fed to him by our neighbours and their family. When covid started I decided he couldn't come in as I didn't want to risk him spreading anything. So I made him a den under the patio table and fed him outside but he was always warm and safe and NEVER went hungery. Then all of a sudden madam appeared from nowhere. She seemed to turn up whenever Ginger was eating. I tried telling her to go away and even threw a jug of water at her a couple of times but missed lol. She wouldn't give up so I ended up feeding the pair of them. Ginger eventually got fed up of sharing and packed his bags looking for pastures new. Minnie decided to move in and stay with us. But we didn't know what name to give her untill hubby said "what about Minnie because she seems to moan all the time". She could win competitions for meowing lol. So the name stuck and she now answers to Minnie too. And YES she still moans a lot bless her

Irene Pickard, mayor ofMy Sweet Ginger3 days agoToday the little imp who answers to the name of Minnie decided she was tired and went back to bed after breakfast. She has a nice fluffy pet bed not far from mt side of the bed which seems to nice and comfy and she loves it. Then after her mroning nap she gets up and decides she wants something to eat AND demand her lick-e-lick treats. Boy does she moan if she doesn't get her treats striaght away. I ran outyesterday and boy oh boy she was like a wailing banchee. Really going to town moaning at me demanding I get her some treats asap. I made sure she has plenty today as I had enough earache from madam Minnie yesterday. But she's still my little angel lol

Irene Pickard, mayor ofMy Sweet Ginger6 days agoMy cat is 100% loopy. She wants to go outside. It's dark it's raining and it's windy. So I let her out while I make us both a cuppa. Then I wait for her to come in. She takes ages and then eventually wants to come back in. That's when the fun starts. She wants food so I give her some cat food and some freshly cooked chick, Then she decides to sit under the dining room table, so I have to get her out because it's bed time. Then it's off to living room and she races behind the setee so I just sit and wait. Out she comes and it's behind the tv, pretending she's playing hide & seek. She's real minx and she's in and out for ages behind the tv and out again untill I finaly managed to pick her up and place her at the bottom of the stairs. She looks at me and then darts upstairs as if she's racing me. Such a sweet little cat (I thin lol)
