1981 "The War of the Worlds," the first live American radio drama in 25 years, is broadcast on NBC on Halloween

The novel was adapted into a radio drama by Orson Welles and his Mercury Theatre group, and broadcast on 30 October 1938 in the United States.
What made it remarkable was its format. Instead of sounding like a normal drama, it was presented as a series of realistic news bulletins interrupting regular programming: "Ladies and gentlemen, we interrupt our programme..."

Hi,sorry I didn't visit yesterday I was drained both physical and mentally and in so much pain it was unreal,
I got a call from the breast care unit at the hospital asking me to come in to discuss the results of my CT scan which I thought was weird because it was my lungs but they said they just wanted go through the results so I'm like OK, went in yesterday my appointment was 9.10am I'm sat there 40minutes late I was called in totally different doctor to who I normally see and she says we want you to go for a ultrasound because we're concerned about something on your scan I'm like WTF so they take me to another waiting area and a nurse comes out and says I'll take you through for your mammogram I said I'm supposed to be having a ultrasound she said that's afterwards I said what's going on she said the Doctor's will explain everything later I'm in total freak out mode now, doing the scan they were moving me about getting me from all angles my boob's felt like they'd been used for punch bags by the time they'd done,then they took me for the ultrasound then told to wait for the doctor she was busy so they took me back in did a biopsy put a marker in back for another mammogram to check the marker was in place, radiographer goes to see doctor she's still busy with patients i asked what's going on and she said we've checked your scans from last time against today's and there is mass we're concerned about but till the biopsy results come back we won't know for certain but the DR will explain everything later so I had to wait for the doctor,finally got to see Dr and she said basically the same and I have to wait for the results, great. Isaid what about my lungs she said there was a slight change with one of the nodules but still to small to biopsy and booked me in for another CT Scan. I was there 4 hours it was a joke. Still none the wiser I'm waiting for my oncologist to ring next see what she says

One of the companies that became famous for time-recording equipment was the International Time Recording Company (ITR).
