Your "outside" city link is http://playmetropolis.net/players.php?id=100001253232913 If you play from there, any city's page you go to will have a set of blue balls under the mayor's picture, which you can use to request a connection whether or not your are FB friends with them. The new "Bonuses" tab lets you collect bonuses from anyone who is either your FB friend or your connection. There is NO benefit from being FB friends with your connections any more.
