KayCee Christensen, mayor ofThe Rocks Are Goneover 15 years agoHi--welcome to Metro. You left a message on my wall about new and needing to figure it all out. Here's a couple of tips in addition to the one Christine left below. 1) Return Favors. You can do this once every 24 hours. If you go to write on someone's wall, always check to see if you can either pop or entertain them. 2) You can choose on returning favors on a daily basis (good idea) for those who have visited your city. Some non GM mayors use the wall comments only, others use the Feed messages and some use both. Returning favors is the only way your city will grow but you do have control over how much tiime you spend at the game 3) Build some connections. If you only play casually (less than 5 times a week) or on a limited basis, find mayors who play the same way. If you're a metro junkie and are on here 7 days a week then look for more aggressive mayors who play the same way. 4) Don't go over 2000 population until you have at least 250,000 daily cash flow (DCF) That is when your indexes, kick in and you have to provide upkeep. 5) If you get close to that population mark and you're not ready to go over, put your city on ENT only. Do this under the mayor's tab. 6) Fire protection needs kicks in at 300 buildings. If you have other questions that you haven't found an answer for, drop back by my wall and ask away.
