Steve Yip, mayor ofPhoenix Goldover 14 years agoConnected. And RE-entertained! I also suggest you try and get some connections. Follow the WALL you posted on, and ask for entertainment and connections, and try connecting with people on that wall. And if you had disengaged population, everyone should be giving you entertainment for now...which reminds me you need at least 20% entertainment to gain taxes. The more connections you have, then you may get entertainment from your connections at least 1 time a day per connection. And when the time comes you can open up population gain, and be able to maintain and turn off population when you need to. I have around 400 connections, and for the most part whenever I need entertainment I can turn off pop, and my entertainment will stay 100% 20 hours if not 24 hours. I've left my taxes at 40% for almost every day since I started this game (except maybe the first couple of days.) And I've never dipped below 20%. I've got great connections! keep posting on the wall for ent/pop (as needed) and connections! And if people on that wall ask for connections, dont be afraid to establish a Friend request and establish that connection! Anyway good luck...

Disable Population gain(select Mayor button, then at the very bottom should be a check box for population make sure it is set appropriately). you have PLENTY of population for now. Take care of your indexes. (save your cash. Buy Police Kiosk/police stations/jails etc and bring your Crime index DOWN below 1.0.) Fix your Health by buying doctor/hospital/any items that say Health on it (however doctor/hospital will count more towards the points. Bring that index to above 1.5 and increase your health.) Education buy schools/universities/libraries etc (however schools/universities etc give more points...bring that index above 1.5 to increase education index) Anyway the 1.0, 1.5, 1.5 is the minimum to give you the MAXIMUM benefit (tax revenue gain) if they drop below that, then you may not get the maximum orrr it will give you less taxes. also realize if you continue to GAIN population, those numbers will suffer, and cause you to drop. I try to keep my health and education above 2.0 at all times, and crime index below .50 at all times and fire protection above 3.0 at all times....Fire right now won't affect you for a long while...probably up 2200 population etc will you see that number go down, keep it above 1.5 for no affect to your city.(obviously fire stations etc fix this) Other items will open up to you when you build your culture. so I suggest buying items that will provide money first so you have some...(big money...) and items that give you culture. The suggested is to save money, to buy the horse thing..(i forget what it is called...I am sure you will find it, it gives you 100 culture per piece. I suggest saving enuff money to give you the first culture upgrade to unlock other items.) Be careful buying industrial items. As it will/could drastically decrease your entertainment levels. fix your indexes and keep them maintained and you should have no probs. You can stay at below 2000 population if you dont buy jobs that require over 2000 population. there's a start for ya...good luck...let me know if I can help some more.
