"Hovedstad" is the general Norwegian word for "capital", the goverment city in any country. "HovedstadEN" means "THE capital". Hovedstaden (the capital) of Norway is Oslo. Norway is a democratic kingdom in Northern Europe.

At September 1th 2009 Hovedstaden turned 100,000 inhabitants.
