Hi, Click on their pics when your at their city. If they want pop it will be clickable. Then request friend, add message saying you want to metro connect. If they accept you will be sent a message confirming it. Then you can add them. Then you go to the connections tab (at the top) and it will show pics and names of all your friends. Then you highlight their pics and at the botton of that it say, send metropolis invitation. Click on that and send it. Then you wait for them to accept it and connect your cities. Then under connections you will see them show up there. At the bottom of the page where your friends all show up, there is a link to show you all pending invites. It's time consuming and takes a while to get to 1000 but worth it.
