Some friendly advice... You don\'t want to pass 2000 people without first having the required city services (police, education, health) otherwise you face stiff financial penalties and it will be extremely hard to save money. You need to unlock those items by buying culture items (with the purple music note), so you have some distance to cover and not very many people left before your indices are in the red from it. Go to Settings at the top-right, then uncheck the population box at the bottom of that page. Save the settings. Once this is done, other players will only have the option to entertain you and you can continue playing safely until you have what you need. To turn your population back on, follow the same steps.
