Welcome to Commonplace, a city where manga art covers every street corner, and alternative rock seeps from every radio. This was once a city called Pretentious, where snobby art students pursued art for art's sake. Sadly, all these art students learned the hard way that avant garde art doesn't sell and all found unemployment. Since then, the next wave of artists embraced main steam concepts. The cultural value of the city dropped, but it saw a large financial boom and changed its name.
