certain buildings award you some culture when you buy them as your city grows in both building count and population you will get more and more oppourtunity to purchase buildings such as landmarks these will offer great amounts of culture also look out for buying artistic things again culture will be given with them as you buy them up just think though walk before you run your first thing to go for culturewise will be to buy two horseman they will awardd you enough culture to leap forward somewhat in the game then after your leap you can sell them off until you can afford other things hope this helps Martyn :-)
