Toward the top of the page (just underneath building count) you'll see where it says "Populate" or "Entertain". Just click on one of them and it will do it. Currently I'm looking for entertainment, so if you click on that, it will increase me by a couple of percentages. Also know that if you make game connections, you get more people when they pop your city, thereby growing your city faster. Thanks!
