Hi! In answer to your question, in order to grow your city, you need to get people to visit and populate it. Post on the main "wall" that you would like visitors, and then you need to return all the visits through your city's message feed. You can also request population through the "populate" tab by choosing the link that says "please get people to populate my city". You might try looking in the forum for new mayor advice too. Making connections with other players will help you grow faster, as you receive 5 citizens for every visit from a connected city vs. only 1 from non-connected. Remember to watch your indexes after you reach 2000! Good luck!
