Elaine Chateau, mayor ofLangville Hockeytownover 15 years agoElaine, Well I hope you will appreciate honesty because it's the only way I know how to be - that said....I became very hurt and upset when we found out that someone from the family suggested to the police that Rick should be investigated for his brother's murder. That was just the icing on the cake. For years, Rick has been ignored when it comes to family events without the curteousy of being told why and to even remotely suggest that he could have anything to do w/Steven's death is unconsciousable. I could go on with many more (of what I believe are) hurtful actions by the 'family' but I'll stop here with an offer to expound more if you are interested please feel free to call me. If this seems harsh or if you are just as shocked as we were when we were told I do apologize if I acted too hastily but as I'm sure you can relate to - I adore my husband and know him to be a very upstanding, loving and humble man who would never knowingly hurt anyone and therefore does not deserve what i view as unloving treatment by his family so forgive me if you think I've over-reacted.
