Fi Fahey, mayor ofHoihoover 15 years agoOnce you cross the 2000 population mark, you receive a census once per day. This can be found under your home tab in the Game Information Feed. Assuming your health index stays above 1.51, it will say something like: Your census reports 30 population was gained from birth/death rates over the last 288 days (24 hours). Today your city gave birth to XX Great People If your fire index is unde 2, there may be mention also of any buildings you have lost. If your health index drops, you receive less people, or may even lose people. When your city goes above 25,000 population, you will receive up to 60 extra people, and the amount you receive with the census will continue to increase by up to 30 people for every extra 25,000 population you have after that. An extra census would give you 2 censuses in a 24hr period rather than just 1. Not really worth it in my opinion, I'd save your favour points. If you have to do some major restructuring in your city at a later stage selling happiness buildings, 20 favour points to bring you back to 100% happiness is very valuable.

I'm assuming it is probably just to check on your census more than once in a day. However, I wanted to add that if you ask in the forum you are more likely to get an answer than on the wall. :)
