Paula Barker Prettyman, mayor ofTaureanover 15 years agoYou post of wall, like you did, to get people to populate or ent. your city. The more people you have the more jobs you can fill and the more money your city makes. But... you also have to buy things to keep them happy. You can click on build button to see the differnt things you can do. Buy land, by buildings for jobs, non revenue, you don't get money for these but have to have them. Like schools and stuff. Trick is to find a balance until you get your population going. You are okay til after 2000 people. Then your happiness goes down and you have to keep it up with thing you buy that show a smily face or happiness. Click on pop button and you can post your city to be popped, but only once an hour. Click on Mayor and there are a list of options. One is you can have people only give you entertainment when your away for long periods of time or it is low. Ocassionally click on the president button and it gives you points to buy certain things like population or money. It doesn't happen very often but mostly when you are getting started so don't forget to check on it. Hope this helps. Oh yeah, click on other peoples pics while visiting their citis and it will take you to an option where you can click on friend request. Then leave message saying you want a metro connection. This will help you build your city faster. You can only have 1000 of these at a time. Also, click home button and scroll down. You will see who has populated or entertained your city. Click on their names to return the favor. That way they will return the favor to you and you build your city. Good luck.
